Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
MARGMA successfully conducted its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) 2023 on Saturday, 30 September 2023 at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. The event garnered participation with 100 delegates in attendance, comprising representatives from 38 ordinary member-companies (with voting rights), 15 local associate member companies and 2 foreign associate member-companies.
Prior to the EGM proceedings, MARGMA hosted an insightful Seminar Talk, featuring expert presentation by industry authorities. Ms. Mae Ooi presented the topic of “Sustainable Food Waste Management” focused an overall scenario of leading the changes towards zero food waste and deliver sustainable ESG values into businesses. Pn. Nageswary delivered an overview on ESG Standards, requirement documents and guidelines with the topic on ”ESG Standards and Guidelines – Steps Towards Sustainability”.
The seminar provided attendees with valuable knowledge and actionable strategies to enhance their environmental, social. And governance practices within the rubber glove industry.
