MARGMA & ILO Workshop
A workshop was organised by the MARGMA in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Sustainable Supply Chains to Build Forward Better (SSCBFB). The event took place on Tuesday, 8 November 2022 and Wednesday, 9 November 2022 at Junior Ballroom, One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya.
The workshop aimed to strengthen the capacity of national stakeholders on International Labour Standards and National Labour Laws relevant to the Rubber Glove Industry in Malaysia. Invitations were extended to all Ordinary and Associate members on MARGMA. A total of 67 participants attended, including representatives from member companies, government agencies, and academic institutions attended the workshop. Distinguished attendees included His Excellency Charles Hay, the UK High Commissioner, as well as representatives from the US and EU embassies.
